Partners provide matching funds to extend ADF's impact in Africa
The unique approach and impact of USADF’s work is recognized in strategic partnerships with African governments, other donors, and the private sector. Strategic partnerships establish an aggreement for host governments to match USADF program grants in their countries up to an agreed level.
In 2012, USADF used $1.6 million of strategic partner funds in Benin, Guinea, Botswana, Mali, Uganda, and Zambia. To date USADF has recieved over $20 million of donations from strategic partners for development grants. USADF plans to use $2 million in Strategic Partner Funds for development projects in 2013.
